Hamnah Niyas

Originally from Sri Lanka, Hamnah began her professional journey as an early childhood educator. It was during this time that she discovered Pilates—what began as a personal interest quickly blossomed into a deep passion that transformed her approach to movement, health, and overall wellbeing.

Hamnah is a certified Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor, trained through the Balanced Body method. She now teaches full-time, sharing her knowledge and love for Pilates with clients of all levels.

In April 2024, she relocated to beautiful New Zealand, bringing with her a wealth of experience, dedication, and a genuine love for teaching. Her classes focus on control, breath work, pelvic floor strengthening, and cultivating a deep, functional connection to the body.

Hamnah believes Pilates is for every body. Her goal is to create a calm, supportive environment where clients feel empowered, centered, and strong through mindful movement.
