Class Cancellation policy
Cancellation policy: Please note that there is a strict cancellation policy for all sessions. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required if cancelling or rescheduling a session. The policy also applies for not turning up to your session. This allows us time to book another client in who is waiting for a spot. The cancellation fee is one class credit for group classes and $50 for all other sessions and must be paid before booking any further sessions.
Class Passes:
Are to be used 6 months from date of purchase.
Series – Pregnancy & Mums & Bubs
Due to the nature of our small, intimate classes we try to make it possible to be flexible if you can’t make a class for sickness or other reasons. If you give us 24hr notice, you may join another series over the week if there is space, or a beginner class. Any make up classes must be completed within your series. The 24 hr class cancellation policy above still applies.
Membership Contract Terms and Conditions
About your Membership contract
When you join us at Mount Pilates for a Pilates Membership, you sign a legally binding contract. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are committing to a minimum term of 6 months, and to pay your chosen rates until you wish to opt out. You will set up a regular payment through direct debit or credit card and this will then be taken automatically through the booking system. If you want to end your membership after the 6 month minimum term has ended, you’ll need to notify us in writing.
Your membership is not transferable to future weeks if you miss coming to regular weekly classes.
The easy way to pay: Direct Debit contracts
All contracts need to be paid by direct debit or regular credit card payment. Fees are paid weekly on your chosen card and your ‘billing day’ will be the day you began your contract on.
When you agree to our Terms and Conditions, you are confirming the account details given to Mount Pilates are correct and that you’re authorised to use that account. That means, you’re either the account holder or you have authorisation to charge fees to the account, with the knowledge and consent of the holder.
If any payments are missed, you will not be able to have receive your class credits. If you don’t pay before the next due date, you’ll end up with two payments being charged – the overdue amount and next regular fee in advance. You must notify us of any changes to your bank details that may affect your payment to prevent any missed payments on your membership.
Failing to pay outstanding fees could mean you end up with an excessive amount owing. In that case, you can either arrange a payment plan or you could have your contract terminated with your details sent to a collection agency. If this happens, you will also be charged reasonable collection costs and solicitors fees. If your account in overdue by eight weeks or more, Mount Pilates have the right to cancel your membership immediately.
Taking a break: Temporary membership suspension
You are entitled to place your membership on hold for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 6 weeks at a time, up to 3 times a year. This means you won’t be able to access the studio – but you also won’t be charged fees for that time. Please notify us in writing at least 5 days before you want to do this. A maximum break of 6 weeks per year.
Remember that a suspended membership is not a cancellation of your contract. If you do decide to cancel during your suspension dates, you will need to reactivate your membership in order to cancel. You will need to do this in writing and give 30 days notice.
Saying goodbye: Cancellation
If you want to finish your Mount Pilates membership contract after the 6 month minimum membership, you can cancel your contract. You’ll need to give us at least 30 days notice in writing. The final fees charged will be your membership fees up to the date of cancellation.
Under 18? You’ll need to come see us in person
If you’re under 18 and want to sign up, you’ll need to apply at reception, not online. You’ll also need to get a parent or guardian to sign the consent form before your membership can start.
