Kay Whyte

Osteopath –

Kay Whyte qualified with a B.Sc (Hons) degree from the British School of Osteopathy in London in Osteopathy in 1996. She was a locum for 2 years before setting up her own clinic, Southport Osteopathy in Merseyside, in 1998. Kay specialises in manual osteopathy and cranial treatment. She worked for her local rugby club for 3 years and sponsored the team. She also worked with a senior American football team (Merseyside Nighthawks) in the UK and enjoys the challenge to obtain optimum health for sports performance.

Kay particularly enjoys seeing her younger patients and people complaining of lower back pain and sports injuries especially rugby and golf. She also enjoys treating age related conditions, as simple changes and management can make such positive benefits to the client. Kay is experienced in using therapeutic ultrasound for plantarfascitis and epicondylitis (tennis elbow) and interferential for chronic pain management.

Coming with her Whanau to New Zealand in 2021 was a dream come true. The family is looking forward to focus on a healthy work/life balance, to explore the country and being involved with New Zealand American football.

Post-graduate training:

  • Acupuncture
  • Cranial Osteopathy
