Trudi Calder

Trudi is Polestar Pilates certified in Mat, Reformer and Comprehensive Studio, teaching since 2010. She is passionate about meeting people where they are, creating sessions that are personalised, empowering, and rooted in mindful movement. Trudi guides clients to move intuitively and listen to their own bodies, cultivating awareness, confidence, and sustainable strength. Her teaching draws on a fusion of tools learned from Pilates, yoga, Franklin Method (fascia and embodiment practices) & somatic movement.

In addition to teaching, Trudi is honoured to mentor student teachers through the Polestar Pilates international certification, supporting them to develop their skills while shining through with their own unique style and personality.

After growing up in the Bay of Plenty, Trudi spent many years living in London, Melbourne, and Auckland, travelling the world along the way, before settling in Papamoa Beach to raise a family and be close to her extended family. She enjoys life with her two young daughters and her husband, and loves embracing nature through paddle boarding, ocean swims, bush walks, and family camping adventures.
