Ana is a very knowledgeable Pilates teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. She has a holistic approach to movement, with attention to conscious, mindful movement and the importance of posture and elegance in moving to avoid injuries.
Her classes are well thought out, challenging, but always therapeutic. She combines the classical Pilates repertoire with contemporary knowledge based physical therapy, including in fascia anatomy trains (how the muscles connect through the fascial fabric or connective tissue of the body) & Global Posture Stretching.
Ana believes that exercising should always be in the pursuit of happiness, health & wellbeing.
She graduated as a physical education teacher in 2008 and has a broad experience base ranging from Pilates, Global Posture Gymnastics/Stretching, Myosfacial Release Techniques, Dance (including contemporary, Arabic & tango), swimming and indoor biking.
Ana, teaches group & private classes, where she supports clients to find the right movement to improve their abilities (strength, flexibility & co-ordination) as well as overcome their limitations.
Ana is originally from Argentina, living in New Zealand for the last 5 years.
