Pilates was originally created for rehabilitation and our sessions are suitable if you are recovering from an injury or keen to improve your performance and prevent injury. Pilates improves core stability to help manage and prevent low back and neck pain, enhances postural control, body awareness and flexibility, helps to reduce the risk of pain or re-injury and strengthens and tones the muscles.
Wether you are recovering from spinal surgery or have niggling knee or shoulder injuries, our Pilates instructors have the knowledge to assess, design a rehabilitation program and progress you to reach your goals.
Our private and semi-private studio sessions give you the ideal space and support to work toward your own goals, at your own pace. We also offer a specially designed Good Back Program for those with back problems, and our general classes are also great for injury prevention by helping to address total body balance and teaching mindful movement and body awareness.
With the use of our state of the art equipment we can control the support or resistance precisely and give you an integrated full body workout, despite any limitations. We are happy to work with your primary healthcare practitioner or coach to discuss your Pilates program and ensure it is suitable and effective.
