Back Pain

Our spines are involved in everything we do, so back pain is very common. It is also extremely disruptive to everyday life if it persists or keeps coming back. Seek treatment early to prevent your pain from worsening and becoming harder to treat.

At Mount Osteopaths we have experience in dealing with spinal pain and use a hands-on approach to provide a thorough assessment and treatment. We also make sure to consider other areas of the body such as your breathing pattern, digestion, or your feet that may be contributing to the problem. This allows our osteopaths to speed up your recovery and help you to move and function better. We are keen to see you make a full recovery.

Everyone is unique, our osteopaths will manage your case personally and help to provide a solution to your pain. Our approach works towards improving joint mobility and reducing muscular tension, inflammation and nerve irritation.

Manual therapy techniques may include joint articulation, manipulations, and massage. To understand more about the treatments we offer please see our article explaining our methods – Osteopathic Treatments.

We also offer comprehensive advice on stretching and strengthening exercises, posture and ergonomics, as well as Clinical Pilates.
