Delia grew up in Tauranga before spending 15 years in England pursuing a professional ballet career. She trained at The Royal Ballet School in London then joining Birmingham Royal Ballet and becoming a Principal dancer.
Pilates always played a big role alongside ballet- from general strength, conditioning and stretching to rehab work preventing and recovering from injuries.
Delia brings this inside knowledge to her classes and loves making sure clients walk away feeling better than when they walked in the studio.
When pregnant with her boy, Lowen, she discovered Mount Pilates and has been lucky enough to be mentored by Leyla. Delia’s classes offer safe movement with a dance vibe- think flowing rhythm, pointed toes while building strength. She offers clear cues and calm, soothing classes.
She has also completed the Hatha Raja Yoga 200hr Teacher Training.
