Ella grew up in Mid Canterbury before moving to Christchurch to pursue university studies.
In her adolescent years she was a keen highland dancer, which highlighted the need to be able to move without limitation. Seeing the benefits of manual therapy following injuries, led Ella to pursue a Bachelor of Musculoskeletal Health degree and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Osteopathy through the Ara Institute of Canterbury.
Becoming an osteopath has taught Ella that there is no such thing as ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to helping people move without injury, and she has the
ability to treat a wide range of conditions including headaches, neck pain and sports related injuries.
Ella applies a variety of structural osteopathic
techniques aimed at reducing pain and enhancing function.
Ella’s approach is patient-centred to promote optimal healing and she recognises that every individual requires a personalised approach to treatment and management. Management plans can range from lifestyle and injury advice to mobilisation and strengthening exercises tailored to your goals and needs.
Outside of osteopathy, Ella enjoys walking with friends and family and being new to The Mount she is keen to explore the city and its surrounding areas.
